The Porsche Macan has entered its second generation with a radical redesign in which its engine options are replaced by batteries. All models feature all-wheel drive and ride on Porsche's PPE architecture. Range is said to exceed 300 miles, and hooking the Macan up to a DC fast charger should get it from 10 to 80 percent in around 21 minutes. At launch, the SUV will be available in two trims––Macan 4 and Turbo––with the latter's 0-60 time of 3.1 seconds beating the Porsche 911 GT3 by 0.1 second. Order books are open now, before deliveries kick off in summer 2024.
