While the current Cadillac XT5 crossover is slated to end production after the 2024 model year, it's been confirmed to receive a new generation for the Chinese market. However, rumor has it that Cadillac has made a last-minute decision to ship the redesigned SUV to the U.S. as well. But regardless of where it ends up, there are significant changes in store for the next XT5. It's expected to switch to GM's C1-2 platform, and we're also anticipating styling updates inside and out that echo Cadillac's more recent models. Note that the next-generation XT5 will stick with a gas powertrain.
