The fourth generation of the gas-powered Chevrolet Equinox has arrived, flaunting boxier looks and a newly-available Activ off-road variant. It's powered by the same 1.5 liter turbo-four engine as before, making 175 hp and either 184 or 203 lb-ft of torque, depending on whether you choose FWD or AWD respectively. Additionally, FWD models hook up the engine to a CVT transmission, while AWD models connect it to an eight-speed automatic. The 2025 Equinox should begin arriving at dealers later in 2024, with a starting price of around $30,000.
