The Kia EV5, previewed by the aptly-named Concept EV5, will be the brand's third dedicated electric vehicle, borrowing the larger EV9's boxy design influence and packing it into smaller dimensions akin to the gas-powered Sportage. The EV5 will launch in China first, with a confirmed release in the fourth quarter of 2023. At the time, Kia lightly hinted at a later launch for other markets, so it's very likely that the EV5 will be joining the EV6 and EV9 on U.S. shores by 2024 at the earliest.
