With the latest S650 Ford Mustang just hitting the market, Ford is now working on performance variants for the muscle car's new generation. Arguably the most exciting is the top-of-the-line Shelby GT500, which should arrive sometime in 2025 for the 2026 model year. It will likely be powered by the same 5.2 liter V8 that powered the most recent version of the GT500.
