2026 Hyundai Nexo

Hyundai's quirky, hydrogen-powered Nexo SUV is in for a second generation. If you don't recall ever seeing a first-generation Nexo, that's because the SUV's unusual power source has limited it to California (for U.S. customers, at least). Details on the redesigned Nexo are scarce, though its powertrain will be significantly improved. While the current model has an EPA range of 380 miles, that estimate could rise to nearly 500 miles. Power output should also see improvements, and the SUV's exterior will undoubtedly receive a makeover. The new Nexo is due in 2025, though limited infrastructure for hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles means that will likely remain only in select markets.
