This is Nissan's planned successor to the Leaf electric hatchback, and while there's a good chance it'll still be called the Leaf, that hasn't been set in stone just yet. But regardless of what its badge will read, the new EV is said to take the shape of a trendy coupe-style crossover, described by insiders as a "mini Ariya" in terms of design. Range is said to be vastly improved compared to today's Leaf, with a reported estimate of about 265 miles. Expect the existing Leaf to bow out sometime after 2024, with its successor set to enter production in 2026.
