Mercedes has been spotted testing a new GLE. But plot twist: it's not a redesign. While the German automaker has just released a refreshed GLE for the 2024 model year, it seems that the midsize SUV is getting another revision before it eventually gets replaced by something fully electric. More styling revisions are a given, and the interior could benefit from more changes this time around. Powertrains are a complete mystery, as we don't know whether Mercedes is opting to keep the current lineup or switch some engines out. To give the current iteration some space, we're guessing the GLE will arrive in late 2026 for the 2027 model year.
