Honda is one of the few automakers that isn't giving up on sedans. The Accord has received small changes for 2021, but it's good enough to stay up there with Toyota, Hyundai Nissan, and Kia. And did we mention that sales start tomorrow?

The new Accord has received a slightly wider grille with revised fog lights. This gives it a bit of a sharper, cleaner look. The chrome bar across the front fascia is thinner. The rear bumper also changed by a tiny bit. We just wish the rear was changed more, since the tweaked front end makes it look older. Lighter headlights help the low beams reach a bit further into the darkness. The high beams are even better, since they are now brighter and wider. A sporty new color called Sonic Gray Pearl is available on most trim levels.

In the interior, all trims benefit from a new 8" touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto coming standard. USB chargers have been moved around, now with ports in the center console and next to the rear seats. All engines remain the same for 2021, but most engines, mainly the turbocharged and hybrid ones, receive upgrades to management software, gaining more throttle response when driving. Also, the hybrid variants now rely more on the electric part.

Active safety features are fixed up as well, including improved braking in the Adaptive Cruise Control, corrected steering in Lane-Keeping Assist, rear seat and seatbelt reminders across all trims, and Low-Speed Braking Control on the Touring trim powered by sonar technology. A new Special Edition trim replaces the EX 1.5T, and it includes leather materials inside, heated seats in front, heated mirrors, remote start, a 12-way power-adjusted driver's seat, 19" wheels, a dark chrome grille a spoiler on the trunk, and LED fog lights. The 2021 Accord sedan gets a slight price increase, with an MSRP of $24,770. The range-topping Hybrid Touring starts at around $36,240. Like we mentioned before, sales start tomorrow.
