The Nissan Ariya electric crossover concept was revealed last year, and now Nissan is teasing a production version.

From the video, we can see that it won't look any different from the concept. It will run on the smaller Nissan LEAF's platform, and will probably have the unique infotainment system shown on the concept.

As you can see, the concept has a coupe-like profile, connecting taillights, and headlights that border the sides of the closed-off grille. All of that could appear on the production Ariya. The new design represents a new chapter for Nissan. Its styling could make it to all future EVs from Nissan. It'll reportedly start at about $40,000, which is a nicely competitive price to go against the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Tesla Model Y. We'll know all the details on July 15th.
