2021 Nissan Frontier Makes A Sneaky Appearance During 2021 Navara's Reveal

A new Nissan Frontier is needed badly here in the US. Asia and Europe are lucky with the much newer Navara. Luckily, a redesigned Frontier is on the way. It should get up to date with competitors lie the Toyota Tacoma and Ford Ranger that are too far ahead. The Navara pickup for foreign markets (also known as Frontier in Mexico and NP300 in parts of Asia) has been facelifted today, and during the reveal, a poster on a nearby wall shows three pickups under the words "Next Trucks". The pickup on the left is obviously the Titan, and the pickup on the left is the 2021 Navara. But, a mysterious truck stands in the middle.

That pickup is very likely the US version of the Frontier, replacing the current 15 year-old second generation. It looks very boxy and tough, and resembles the prototypes in previous spy shots and teasers.

The next Frontier should arrive in 2021 with a 3.8 liter V6 engine producing 310 horsepower.
