Buick is slowly releasing new and redesigned SUVs, including the 2021 Envision and Encore GX. During a Q&A session, GM gave their select viewers a preview of the 2022 Enclave SUV, coming this fall. The slimmer headlights are connected to the updated mesh grille by a chrome bar, while fog lights take the place of the previous model's lower vents. The rear adopts a cleaner look with smaller taillights and more chrome accents. Buick said that the interior will receive some updates too.
The interior is said to be inspired by the 2021 Envision crossover, with a more open layout, a push-button shifter (also seen in the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon), and a larger 10.2" touchscreen. The Enclave keeps its original seven-seat layout as well. The popular Avenir luxury trim level has been mentioned on Buick's website, so it should be included in the vehicle's full debut. Most other trims are expected to stick around, like the Essence, Sport Touring package, and Premium. Engines are to stay the same, as GM facelifts don't usually include power upgrades.
The 2022 Enclave follows the footsteps of the 2022 Chevrolet Traverse, which has also been given a refresh. Pricing will either remain the same or change slightly when the new Enclave arrives this fall.
