2022 Mercedes C-Class Teased With S-Class-Inspired Design

The Mercedes C-Class is the last of the luxury brand's sedans to receive a refresh, and the new 2022 model is coming on February 23rd, 2021 at 8:00 AM (EST). It will be revealed digitally on the Mercedes Me platform.

The teaser image provided shows both the sedan and wagon variants of the C-Class. The wagon hasn't been available here in ages, but there is a chance that an All-Terrain variant similar to the new E-Class wagon could come here. At the same time, we doubt Mercedes would do that as they thin out their extensive model portfolio. The C-Class coupe and convertible, as well as the AMG performance versions will arrive later.

The C-Class will be the first Mercedes model to offer electric variants of all trims. All 2022 C-Class models will have four-cylinder engines. Hybrid assistance will vary for each variant. For example, the 2022 C300 will utilize a 48-volt system, while the C63 AMG will have more electric influence. Also, the C-Class will offer the advanced next-generation MBUX infotainment system from the S-Class, "making the passenger compartment more comfortable and intelligent."

Tune into the C-Class reveal on February 23rd at 8:00 am EST on the Mercedes Newsroom or Mercedes Me.
