2023 Kia Forte Gets A Small Price Bump With Minor Changes

The Kia Forte continues into 2023 after a mid-cycle refresh last year, as one of few remaining small cars on sale. Pricing has increased slightly, but no major upgrades have been added for the new year.

For starters, the entry-level FE has been renamed the LX, which helps to keep the Forte's trim levels more in line with other Kia models. Otherwise, all four trims are still offered. The GT Technology Package has been dropped, but the FCA Fusion safety suite has been carried over to the GT model with a dual-clutch transmission. Also, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder included in the LX, LXS, and GT-Line trims is now SULEV30 compliant.

The Forte starts at $19,490 for the LX trim. Moving up to the LXS raises the price to $19,990, while the GT-Line costs $21,690. The range-topping GT variant now starts at $24,190 for the DCT version, while the manual transmission sets you back an additional $700. These prices do not include the $1,095 destination fee.
