Automakers don't always last forever, and others are just forgotten about. Back when GM axed Oldsmobile, Saturn, Hummer and Pontiac was a sad time. Ford discontinued Mercury at about the same time. Toyota's Scion sub-brand never really caught on either, and was purged. Saab and Plymouth also vanished in the early 2010's. But, there are others that we don't remember...
