The Centodieci is Bugatti's latest and greatest bespoke model, taking inspiration from the legendary EB110 supercar produced from 1991 to 1995. The Centodieci was first unveiled at Monterey Car Week's prestigious 'The Quail' event in 2019, with a hefty price tag of almost $9 million. Nearly three years later, the first example to roll off the assembly line has finally reached its customer.

Bugatti designed the Centodieci with aerodynamics in mind for the best performance possible, while also tying in some of the EB110's classic design elements. But this particular unit takes that inspiration to another level with its EB110 Blue paint job, as well as EB110 Sport Silver wheels. Bugatti notes that the customer also owns an EB110 GT with the same color combination, which explains why this example is so, well, EB110-ish.

The same story applies to the classy cabin, where a quilted "chessboard-like" design is found on the seats, door panels, center console, headliner, and floor mats. This pattern was originally used on the EB110, as you would have guessed. Otherwise, the interior is largely based on the Chiron's, but that doesn't make it normal. It takes Bugatti 16 weeks to create the interior of each Centiodieci, with one whole day set aside to examine the seats.

In a press release statement, President of Bugatti Automobiles Christophe Piochon said, "We at Bugatti in Molsheim are proud to have completed and delivered the very first Centodieci – Bugatti's latest few-off model. The Centodieci builds upon Ettore Bugatti's successful 110-year lineage of exceptional design and performance, while reviving the memory of the brand's recent history. The EB110, built by Romano Artioli in Italy, was a critical path to the re-establishment of Bugatti in 1998. After two years of relentless development, we have refined the Centodieci to the standard our customers expect of all Bugatti models. Our designers and engineers pour the very same passion and desire for perfection into the marque's few-off models as they do for Bugatti's series production units."

Each Centodieci includes the Chiron's unrivaled 8.0 liter W16 under its beautifully sculpted hood, specially tuned to make 1,577 horsepower. This is 97 hp more than the Chiron it's based on. Meanwhile, sprinting from 0-62 mph takes just 2.4 seconds, and the speedometer needle reaches the 124 mph mark at about 13.1 seconds. Moreover, the Centodieci's chassis was specially engineered to deliver improved handling and a "unique dynamic Bugatti experience" when driving.
