Ford Considering Mustang And Bronco Sub-Brands

Writer's picture: TurbochargedTurbocharged

Ford’s Mustang lineup is rapidly growing, currently including the Mustang Coupe and Convertible, GT350, GT350R, GT500, Bullitt, and Mach-E. A new Mach 1 revival is also on the way. The Bronco models coming soon include the Bronco and Bronco Sport. Ford is rumored to create the Icon Group, which could consist of almost everything, such as SUVs and coupes, except with the ‘Mustang’ or ‘Bronco badges. We’ve heard this before, but there is now evidence to prove it. This rumor comes from a source close to Ford.

If this were to actually happen any time soon, we could be seeing expansions in both model lineups. We dream of a Bronco pickup based on the upcoming Maverick, a Ford Mustang sedan, hopefully named ‘Falcon’, and a Mustang Mach-E GT500. We’ll see what happens.
