Hyundai Elantra GT, i30 N-Line Discontinued In The US

You may not know that all of Hyundai's compact cars are leaving the US and Canada. The Accent compact sedan and Veloster 3-door hatchback are being axed. Now, the Elantra GT hatchback and its performance i30 N-Line counterpart are leaving as well, meaning the model's sharp new facelift is not coming. Plus, all we have left now is the super-fast Veloster N.

Replacing the i30 N-Line is the sharp, new 2021 Elantra N performance sedan. Also, the Elantra GT is being replaced by, of course, SUVs and crossovers. Hyundai even stated that the hatchback has been "discontinued from the lineup due to expanded SUV lineup that includes Venue and Kona."

Also, the hatchbacks saw declining sales, just as the Kona and Venue crossovers caught on.
