It Is Time To Wave Goodbye To The Bentley Mulsanne

The Bentley Mulsanne flagship sedan steps down, but will not hand its flagship position to the slightly smaller Flying Spur. The Mulsanne has no immediate replacement, and will officially be gone this spring. From now on, expensive sedan buyers will have to turn to the Mercedes S Class Maybach or the Rolls Royce Phantom.

Why? Because Bentley is thinking about having an SUV ranked above the Bentayga as the next flagship. This will be a big first for all luxury brands.

It is kind of sad to see SUVs overthrow Bentley's beautiful flagship, but the SUV isn't definite. There is still a slight chance of a new sedan flagship. It wouldn't be the Flying Spur because Bentley does not feel that it deserves the position of a flagship. We hope there is a sedan flagship, and soon, the Mulsanne's long story will sadly come to an end.
