Despite the success of the Telluride, new Sorento, Seltos and K5, Kia isn't done yet. In fact, not even close. A new logo is coming in 2021, ditching the outright 'KIA' look. Instead, they have made it more exaggerated and similar to the European market's emblem. The logo will appear on several EVs being revealed that same year. The launch of the logo and EV models is called Plan S (the S represents 'shift').
Kia's CEO wants Kia to be more 'dynamic, stylish, and inventive'. Eleven EVs are promised by 2025, so quite a few could be coming early next year. All of Kia's new EVs will run on a new E-GMP platform also shared by Hyundai and possibly Genesis.
The new logo should be seen on an EV first, but some new ICE models that we've seen being tested could also receive it. Expect the Futuron and restyled Niro EVs next year, with the redesigned Sportage, Cadenza (or K7), and K900 ICE models following their lead.
