While visiting Kia’s American website to check out the 2022 Telluride’s official specs, we came across an image of Kia‘s sedans advertising some kind of safety system. This image showed the Stinger, K5, and Forte with the all-new Kia logo appearing on all three vehicles. The 2022 Stinger and K5 are already on dealer lots with the updated branding, but as for the Forte, it hasn’t received the redesigned logo yet. This, of course, was a leak, but the image raises some questions about what updates are coming to this compact sedan next year.
Well, it may sound strange, but we think the second guess may be correct. This is because 2022 Kia models, like the Telluride and Soul, appear with the exact same backdrops and camera angles as the previous model year versions with the old logo. It is 2021, so Kia’s images be computer-generated in the event of a rebranding, without a whole new photoshoot being necessary.
In conclusion, this leak we found was likely a computer error, so anyone who doesn‘t want to see yet another real name go in favor of an alphanumeric one can remain hopeful, but prepare to be disappointed.
Do you think the Forte will be facelifted, or not?
