Land Rover has presented the Range Rover SV Carmel Edition to a gathering of VIP guests at the Range Rover House during Monterey Car Week. Only 17 examples of this posh SUV will be produced, and guests at the Range Rover House will be the first in line to buy it.

As its name suggests, the Carmel Edition is inspired by the landscapes found in and around Carmel, California. The exterior wears a very caramel-like Bespoke Satin Bronze paint, and rides on 23" Dark Gray Gloss wheels with bronze inserts.

The interior is where things get very lavish, with Liberty Blue front seats and Caraway contrast rear seats. The Carmel Edition is based on the range-topping SV trim, featuring the SV Signature Suite four-seat layout. The console runs along the entirety of the cabin, from front to back. It includes electronic cupholders, an electronic Club Table, and a built-in refrigerator with etched Dartington Crystal glassware. The controls are made of gloss white ceramic trim, while the remaining trim elements are finished in satin white ceramic and embossed mosaic.

Also unique to this special edition are the exclusive treadplates with Carmel Edition lettering, as well as a 1 out of 17 unit number. There is also a bespoke embroidery on the rear seats, as well as SV Bespoke puddle lights.

The Range Rover SV Carmel Edition is limited to 17 units, priced at a whopping $345,000. Land Rover is offering this limited edition exclusively to its VIP guests at the Range Rover House.
Would you buy this, or a similarly priced Rolls-Royce Cullinan?
