The 2021 VW Golf GTI Is Our Only Hope

The new 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI is one of the last hot hatches remaining in the US. What would we do without it? Also available (in Europe only) are the Golf GTD and GTE. Ford's Focus RS and Fiesta ST left us last year, and Toyota's amazing new GR Yaris won't be available here either. Peugeot and Renault also offer hot hatches in Europe, which is the biggest hot hatch market. That is kind of why they are all available there. If only Subaru made a WRX hatch. Instead, they sell the Levorg wagon in Europe and Asia. Here are the last hot hatches in America:
