The Dodge Journey Is Near The End Of Its Journey

And it's about time. The Dodge Grand Caravan is also slowly disappearing, and will take its final bow this May. The Dodge Journey, however, is only going to leave 13 states, including California, due to new emission standards. Dodge's lineup is starting to wither away, and Dodge needs to up their game to stand against competition, and also before the brand disappears altogether.

As one of the smallest SUVs with a third row, the Dodge Journey first came into production in late 2008, and was refreshed for the 2012 model year. It has not been touched since, making it very outdated. The Dodge Journey could see its official demise later in the decade, unless Dodge were to redesign it until then, but there is a rare chance that would happen. Dodge recently stated that the Dodge Journey and the Grand Caravan minivan (which is also outdated) are likely living on borrowed time, and will both exit the lineup soon, but they also hinted that the Durango SUV may be on shaky ground as well. If the Durango eventually disappears, we will be left with the Charger and Challenger, which do not seem to sell as well as they have in the past.

Dodge's smallest crossover is sometimes considered a great car for storage solutions, mainly because it has a third row packed in. It has an okay interior, but it is not Dodge's best. We won't be overly miserable about its demise.
