The Mustang Is Already 56!

Writer: TurbochargedTurbocharged

This is a big milestone, and plus, the Mustang still lives on. Its popularity is increasing in places like Europe, which is a good sign that the icon is safe, even though SUVs are all the rage. The Mach E was a great way to boost sales (yes, it is sold out).

The lineup, though, is changing. The Mach E is new, and so is the GT500, which is the most powerful. The GT350 seems to be on the verge of discontinuation, and the Bullitt is being replaced by the Mach 1. Still, the Mustang lives.

It still competes with the other top muscle cars, the Camaro (which is nearing its end), and the Challenger. The GT500 has been seen racing the C8 Corvette. All the iconic designs remain throughout the lineup.

If the Mustang weren't an icon, it would have vanished with the Fusion, Taurus, Focus, and Fiesta. But, it didn't. Its long history shows that it isn't going anywhere.
