These Peugeot Models Might Come To The US

With the FCA-PSA merger in place, Peugeot's original plans to arrive in the US in 2026 have been pulled back to 2023. We don't know any specific details about their arrival, so this list predicts what is to come.


(1: 2008 Crossover

The 2008 crossover is about the size of a compact crossover, so it would be a big hit here. Peugeot's sharp design language really works on the car. There is no doubt that this is coming.


(2: e-2008 Crossover

The e-2008 is the EV variant of the popular 2008 crossover, and could work well with consumers and the competition. The Chevy Bolt EUV would be its main target.


(3: 3008 Crossover

The Peugeot 3008, again, is in a very popular segment. It could do really well here in the US. This standard crossover would compete with the Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain, Lincoln Corsair, Mazda CX-5, and more.


(4: 3008 PHEV Crosssover

The 3008 PHEV would be worth a try, being targeted at people who are slowly trying to adjust to electrification. It would also be a one-of-a-kind car, since most PHEVs sod in the US are non-crossovers.


(5: 5008 SUV

The 5008 is, in fact, a midsize SUV that would compete in America's largest, and most popular segment, the midsize SUV. Although it has room for improvement, it would still be a decent competitor to the Kia Sorento, GMC Acadia, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Hyundai Santa Fe, Honda CR-V, Nissan Murano, and more.


(6: 508 Sedan

The 508 is more like something that we hope for. Although, European sedans are still decent sellers, particularly from BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Volkswagen. Maybe the sporty 508 would be worth a try?


(7: 508 SW Wagon

The 508 SW is even less likely to arrive stateside since the only popular wagon left in the US is the Subaru Outback. But, the Audi RS6 Avant and Volvo V60 are worth competing with...
