Lincoln is done with sedans, leaving four SUVs: Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator, and Navigator. This number could get even lower as the Nautilus midsize crossover is our to get axed in July 2024. Why a crossover? Not so long ago the Ford Edge, as well as the Nautilus, were rumored to be discontinued when their current life cycles end. The reason why an SUV-focused brand is thinking about axing a crossover is because of the other SUVs in the lineup.

Ford's compact Escape and larger Explorer both sell better than the Edge, and the upcoming Mach-E, Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs should eat up the car's sales even more. The same goes with Lincoln. The Corsair and Aviator are more appealing to the public, and a Nautilus-sized EV is set to arrive at some point, making the Nautilus unnecessary.

We already know the Nautilus is gone in four years, but the Edge is still safe; at least for now.
