The Porsche 911 Targa is eye candy on its own, but when a coach builder comes across it, the most beautiful aftermarket Porsche builds are born. The 992-generation 911 Targa is the latest masterpiece from Ares Design, and arguably the best to date. The last time Ares worked with the 911 Targa was in 2018 with the 991 GT3 Targa, which turned out great.

The Ares 992 Targa is a one-off project with an all-new aero kit made of lightweight carbon fiber. This aero kit was carefully designed by Modenese Centro Stile, and increases the sports car's width by eight centimeters in front and four centimeters in back, making for an eye-catching stance. Silver chrome accents have been added to the redesigned lower intakes, exterior side mirror caps, and door handles. The custom rims boast a similar material, while the soft top's blue fabric matches the beautiful navy blue paint job.

Inside, Ares wrapped the cabin in premium, light brown leather upholstery. They also fitted carbon fiber and gloss black veneers across the dashboard, as well as around the center console. The coach builder not only improved the 911 Targa's iconic design, but they also tuned the convertible's turbocharged flat-six engine to raise the power outputs. The most considerable improvement would be the installation of a completely new sports exhaust system, providing an additional 60 horsepower.

Like most of the Porsche 911 Targa builds that come from Ares Design, this is a one-off creation that was specifically ordered by the client. Ares Design didn't release the pricing for this special 992 Targa, but you can always contact the Italian firm for more information. Looking ahead, there is another bespoke coach build coming down the pipeline later this year, and it's called the Ares 964 Turbo.
