Volkswagen ID.4 Teased, Debut Coming Soon

Volkswagen is going big on EVs. The ID.3 has launched in the European market, and VW's next EV, the ID.4 crossover, is coming very soon. It is important because it is VW's first ID model to come to the US. VW said that the new model is arriving 'in a matter of weeks'.

The teaser previews the car's simple front end, as well as its interior and the rear of the ID.3 hatchback. The crossover is to run on Volkswagen Group's MEB platform that will underpin every new EV to come. (e.g. Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Bentley, etc.)

The ID.4 was previewed by the ID Crozz coupe crossover back in 2017. The ID.4 won't be a coupe, but still expect it to be a five seater that will slot in between the Atlas Cross Sport and Tiguan crossovers. We don't know much else, but since a reveal is, according to VW, just within weeks, more small details should surface in the coming days.
