Honda Civic Coupe Not Returning In 2021

Writer's picture: TurbochargedTurbocharged

The Honda Civic, unlike most sedans, is a bestseller. Although the sedan and hatchback variants have seen an increase in sales, the two-door coupe has seen sales fall.

Honda recently announced plans for 2021, and the Civic coupe, Fit hatchback, and manual transmission Accord will all be chopped before 2021 (The Accord will now only be available with an automatic). The Civic coupe will not be seen in the eleventh generation Civic lineup. The Civic Si performance models will also see production halt, but the Si sedan will come back next spring, when the next Civic is unveiled. The new Type R will appear a year later.

The Civic's most fun variant is gone. If you want one, now is the time to get it.
